If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Margaret. Take a hike on the Luna Lake Trail, and soar down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a brilliant panorama of Horse Thief Peak from Lake Margaret, and nice skiing awaits you at Steamboat. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. A wonderful close by hotel is Village at Steamboat, and if you're looking for some flowing water?

At Lake Margaret you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that snows the most, and August meanwhile is the driest month. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lake Margaret. summer at Lake Margaret temperatures are usually in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Lake Margaret night low temperatures during the
wintertime are in the-10's.
The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Park Range. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Big Creek Lake Trail, and you'll find a charming lake called
Lake Edward. Camping is available at Dry Lake Campground; if you need a place to stay Western Lodge is a good choice.
Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lake Margaret. This lake
is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some good whitewater; if you're here, you could also pop by pretty Mirror Lake. Going for a hike along the Crags Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Howelsen Hill has fine slopes and a friendly staff.
