This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake Campground is a delightful campground here, and going for a hike along the Big Creek Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Margaret you can take a hike along the Crags Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Howelsen Hill close at hand. to Lake Margaret. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Margaret temperatures fall
to the-10's.
Lake Margaret is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Western Lodge is a wonderful place to get some rest, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Luna Lake Trail. Lake Edward is a tremendous lake close
to Lake Margaret, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Elk River.
Around Lake Margaret you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls through December while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Lake Margaret rules! Camping at Lake Margaret is great fun, Dry Lake Campground is a great local campground; dry warm beds await you at Village at Steamboat.
