Lathrop is a nice campground nearby, and there are magnificent spots to discover along the Apishapa Trail. Marchiori Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Sangre       De Cristo Mountains. It is very dried up here at Marchiori Reservoir ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Don't leave Marchiori Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Black Hills Trail; you can hit the slopes at Eldora in the neighborhood. Stay the night at Dakota Campground, and Long Canyon is unquestionably a fine location to have a look at. All year is a good time in the                  Sangre De Cristo Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Best Western Rambler is a nice location to get some rest, and playing golf is lots of fun at Walsenburg Golf Club. High temperatures at Marchiori Reservoir through the summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Marchiori Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Marchiori Dam near Marchiori Reservoir; Salas Ditch Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. So many amusing things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too fine to be true.
