Deer Creek Golf Club is a magnificent golf course nearby, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River. This lake is so wonderful.                  If you came for an overnight stay Chatfield is a wonderful location to camp, and the top of Bill Couch Mountain is easily observed from Mann Reservoir. Not much rainfall falls here at Mann Reservoir; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Bear Creek, and swing by Mill Creek it's a great place to visit. Coleman Gulch is near Mann Reservoir and is a delightful spot; don't leave Mann Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail.
