It's always fun to stop by Manitou Reservoir. You just have to adore the Front Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by South Catamount Reservoir, and there are plenty of folks from Colorado Springs here. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Palmer Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Barr Trail. And that's not all you can do

Manitou Reservoir is a location that is pretty arid typically; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is January. High temperatures at Manitou Reservoir through the summertime are in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, commonly
in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Manitou Reservoir.
