This lake is so wonderful. Near Mammoth Creek Reservoir you locate Mammouth Gulch which is a splendid place to explore, and tremendous hiking is available along the Lost Lake Trail. If you need a place to stay Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a pleasant choice, and you can go for a hike on the James Peak Lake Trail. Summer at Mammoth Creek Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's.       Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Mammoth Creek Reservoir all through the winter commonly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
