A golf course in the vicinity of Main Reservoir is Bear Creek Golf Club, and going for a hike on the Bear Peak Trail is always a magnificent adventure. During your spree to Main Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Denver-Aurora for sure; after a long day outdoors Homewood Suites by Hilton       Denver West Lakewood is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are tremendous sites to visit, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called East Reservoir. Main Reservoir is a location that is relatively arid commonly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Main Reservoir. Main Dam is not far at all from Main Reservoir, and a great close by hotel is Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center. This lake is so wonderful. South Park Lodge and RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Mesa Trail. Main Reservoir is a good spot to visit for more than one day, The Prospect RV Park is a good spot to camp nearby; paddling on South Platte River is so much fun. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Main Reservoir, too magnificent to be true. All through the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Main Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Main Reservoir.
