Beautiful Maid Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Monarch is just what you need, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Vista Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Coyote Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Maid Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pitkin Campground is a nice location for that. | | trip? Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is rather close to Maid Lake; there's perfect hiking along the Pitkin Stock Driveway.
Maid Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month is June. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Paddling on Taylor River is so much fun, and nearby you stumble on Cumberland Pass which is a pleasant location to have a look at. | |

That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Sawatch Range has it all. Visit Graphite Creek while you're here at Maid Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Maid Lake; Gold Creek Union Park
Trail is a magnificent local trail.
Be careful coming to the Sawatch Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. There are other spots here than Maid Lake, for example Jackson Lake, and glide down the rapids of Clear Creek
in a kayak. Not far from Maid Lake, you'll stumble on Graphite Lake which is a stunning lake; Maid Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Middle Quartz Campground is a brilliant local campground.
This lake is located
in the wonderful Sawatch Range. Through the summertime months at Maid Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Maid Lake drop into the-10's.
