Have a great hiking adventure along the Rule Ridge Trail, and if you need a place to stay Country Lodge is a delightful choice. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of South Platte River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Rule Creek Trail. Take a hike on the Phantom Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Magnuson Reservoir

| | Number 1 that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Bell Camp & Conference is a pleasant spot for that.
Magnuson Reservoir Number 1 is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Magnuson Reservoir Number 1 is pretty dried out mostly; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest of the months is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A magnificent close by hotel is The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak.

Reservoir Number 1 mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Magnuson Reservoir Number 1 are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy
the Front Range. If you came to camp Cripple Creek Gold Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and a spree to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is recommended.
