Mack Mesa Reservoir is in close proximity to Upper Highline Dam which is a scenic place positively worth checking                  out, and La Quinta Inn And Suites Fruita is a nice site to get some rest. Not much rainfall falls here at Mack Mesa Reservoir; October is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month.
