This lake is so wonderful. Wason Park is a wonderful site any time of year, and camping is available at Broadacres Traveling Teepee. The Wason Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Palisade Campground is a nice location to camp. At Machin Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months       is February. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Machin Lake rocks! Looking for some flowing water? Try Machin Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Machin Lake; Farmers Creek Trail is a perfect local trail. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Machin Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in                  the 30's, and nighttime lows at Machin Lake all through the wintertime typically sink into the-10's.
