If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Macey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime at Macey Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Macey Lake sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Macey
Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Cross D Bar Trout Ranch is a magnificent local campground. There's so much to do here at Macey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Crestone Campground is a glorious place for that.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
