It's always fun to stop by Lyle Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lyle Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lyle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch; a delightful place to camp here at Lyle Lake is Elk Wallow Campground. Gotta ski! Beaver Creek is a nice place to do that.

Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a great location to get some rest, and Lyle Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mary Queen Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Main Range Trail, and do explore Lyle Creek since you're here at Lyle Lake. the Last Chance Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Fryingpan River.
Lyle Lake is frequently a rather dried up site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most
rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Ivanhoe Dam is a pretty location in the vicinity of Lyle Lake, and the slopes of Ski Cooper are so inviting nobody can resist. But wait, there's more exciting
stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. A striking lake like Bench Lakes next to Lyle Lake is a great location to go to; you're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Edwards here.
The Highline Trail offers hiking at its best, and
there's whitewater on Lake Creek for all you adrenaline people. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range.
