In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River; the South Derby Trail is a delightful hiking       trail nearby. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Luark Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's while Luark Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. If you get bored of Luark Reservoir, you could also stop at nearby Wohler Reservoir, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the High Trail. But wait, there's more to do close to Luark Reservoir.
