A good close by hotel is Hyatt Mountain Lodge, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Fall Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Lower Turquoise Lake. There's whitewater on Eagle River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Beaver Creek Golf Course is a delightful golf course nearby. Do pop by Upper Turquoise       Lake near Lower Turquoise Lake, it's a lovely lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Beaver Creek is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. Grouse Mountain is stunning and can be observed from Lower Turquoise Lake; after a long day outdoors Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa is a fine spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Lower Turquoise Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Half Moon Campground is a delightful spot for that; while you're here, you could also visit striking Boot Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lower Turquoise Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Lower Turquoise Lake. If the weather is great here at Lower Turquoise Lake, you can go for a hike along the Half Moon Trail, and the skiing at Vail is perfect. Lower Turquoise Lake gets very little precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Eagle River, and if you came to camp Gold Park Campground is a perfect site to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
