You'll come across a pretty lake called Boot Lake near Lower Turquoise Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lower Turquoise Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Turquoise Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Lower Turquoise Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range.       This place, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Camping is available at Half Moon Campground; after a long day outdoors Centennial Condominiums is a good place to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff to do in the Sawatch Range, not enough time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Vail, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eagle River. Around Lower                  Turquoise Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest of the months is February. Hit the slopes at Beaver Creek in the vicinity, and Grouse Mountain is clearly visible from Lower Turquoise Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lower Turquoise Lake you come across a golf course called Beaver Creek Golf Course, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the New York Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Gold Park Campground is a perfect place to camp, and Lower Turquoise Lake is right by the Half Moon Trail. Dry warm beds await you at The Charter At Beaver Creek; Eagle River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
