This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Colorado Springs come to Lower Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a splendid time. Camping at Lower Reservoir is tremendous fun, Colorado Heights Camping is a tremendous local campground, and Country Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. Lower Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. On a pleasant day at Lower       Reservoir you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Colorado Springs North is a splendid place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back time and again. The Schubarth Trail is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Lower Reservoir, and why not camp at Lake Of The Rockies Retreat while you're here at Lower Reservoir. This lake is                  so wonderful. A nice place to pop by near Lower Reservoir is Limbaugh Canyon; if you're here you can take a hike along the Balanced Rock Trail. For the duration of the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Lower Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Lower Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Take a side journey to Ice Cave Creek, and you can make out Ben Lomand Mountain from Lower Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Palmer Lake, and if you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you must schedule some time for it since you're here.
