There's so much to do here at Lower Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a good site for that. At Lower Rainbow Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Lower Rainbow Lake dipping down into the-10's through       winter nights. Having a good time at Lower Rainbow Lake is trouble-free. On a magnificent day at Lower Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Ranger Trail, and after a long day outdoors Winterwood Townhomes is a delightful place to spend a night or two. So many cool things to do here in the Park Range, too delightful to be true. If the weather is perfect here at Lower Rainbow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rainbow Lake Trail, and dry warm                  beds await you at Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums. Lower Rainbow Lake is pretty dry frequently; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and August on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Aqua Fria Dam in the neighborhood of Lower Rainbow Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see; get covered with water paddling on Elk River. You could also check out Middle Rainbow Lake while you're here at Lower Rainbow Lake; it's nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Rainbow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Grizzly Creek Campground. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lower Rainbow Lake called the Newcomb Creek Trail; why not head up to Steamboat and strap some skis to your feet. Lower Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. A day on the slopes of Howelsen Hill is just what you need, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes?
