Dry warm beds await you at Crystal Peak Lodge, and skiing at Crested Butte is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Lower Mohawk Lake is Kite Lake Campground, and one of the principal highlights       of the surroundings of Lower Mohawk Lake is Father Dyer Peak. Lower Mohawk Lake gets very little precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Breckenridge; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Tenmile Creek. Good hiking is available along the Wheeler Trail,                  and there's some interesting stuff to see at Upper Blue Dam close to Lower Mohawk Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lower Mohawk Lake, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Lower Mohawk Lake. Lakes? Sure, Mohawk Lake is nearby, and don't leave Lower Mohawk Lake without first going for a hike along the Burro Trail. There are other places here than Lower Mohawk Lake, for example Mayflower Lakes; you'll almost certainly meet some people from Silverthorne here.
