Lower Lamphier Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. Lower Lamphier Lake gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Lower Lamphier Lake you could always look at Gunsight Pass; there's tremendous hiking along the Gunsight Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining       stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. The Onemile Trail offers hiking at its best; if you're looking for a perfect tour, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is pretty near. Dry warm beds await you at Harmel's Ranch Resort, and camping at Lower Lamphier Lake is wonderful fun, Gold Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground. Monarch has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; Lower Lamphier Lake is right by the Gold Creek Union Park Trail. Throughout                  the summer highs here at Lower Lamphier Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Lower Lamphier Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Sawatch Range rocks! After a long day outdoors Pitkin Hotel is a great site to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Boulder Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Taylor River, and some of the water close by flows, like Lamphier Creek. So much exciting stuff close to Lower Lamphier Lake, absolutely unbelievable.
