do here at Lower Lamphier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Comanche Campground is a fine place for that; don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Lamphier Creek. All the outdoors cool things in the Sawatch Range
will keep you coming back many times. Lower Lamphier Lake is in the neighborhood of Gunsight Pass which is absolutely worth a visit, and you'll find a stunning lake called Mill Lake. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to
do close to Lower Lamphier Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Lamphier Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gold Creek Campground, and the Gunsight Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. Going for
a hike on the Gold Creek Union Park Trail is always a fine adventure, and pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you obtain at Monarch. Lower Lamphier Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range.

 | 13 miles away We've camped here since our now 40ish childrlen were young. They are now taking their children there. Mosca is beautiful both to the eye and the heart. It is a little more difficult now that there is no potable water, but one can use lake water for dishes, and must bring in drinking and cooking water.Fishing is great - the deer put on a show eve4ry night. The camp hostess, Mary, is there is to help you with problems, and to give great advice.Other than the water problem, this is the greatest camp ground I've ever occupied!... |
