So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lower Chinns Reservoir, too tremendous to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sevenmile Ski Trail is perfect fun, and if you've had enough of Lower Chinns Reservoir, Chinns Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Fall River Reservoir is one of those close       by, and the James Peak Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Lower Chinns Reservoir gets very little rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Lower Chinns Reservoir is right by the South Boulder Creek Trail, and Clear Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. A quick journey to North Empire Creek in close proximity to Lower Chinns Reservoir is a good idea; The Peck House is a good                  place to get some rest.
