If you came for an overnight stay Boyd Lake is a great site to camp, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Jug Trail. There are some good whitewater spots on Saint Vrain Creek - North, and Loveland Dam is a beautiful location. Having a great time at Loveland Reservoir is easy. Get yourself into a kayak       and hit Big Thompson River, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here. Loveland Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dried up place; most of the rain falls during May, and January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Loveland Reservoir get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's while Loveland Reservoir overnight low temperatures                  throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Creek is a pleasant spot to check out, and if you're looking for a glorious journey, Rocky Mountain National Park is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Loveland Reservoir, you could also have a look at close by Handy Reservoir, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Longmont/Twin Peaks is a magnificent choice.
