    Lost Man Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company; paddling on Lake Creek is so much fun. Lost Man Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. High temperatures at Lost Man Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's while Lost Man Lake overnight low temperatures  
   during the winter are in the 0's.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Independence Lake is near Lost Man Lake, and camping is available at Portal Campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. Skiing at Aspen Highlands is one of those things you just must do, and Deadman Gulch is beyond doubt a perfect site to pop by.                probably interested in lakes, Blue Lake is one of those close by, and a great spot to camp here at Lost Man Lake is Lost Man Campground.
You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Aspen Mountain, and the top of Geissler Mountain is easily seen from Lost Man Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Lost Man Lake you can take a hike along the Sawyer Lake Trail; if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Massive Trail. There is a great hiking trail next to Lost Man Lake called the Chapman Trail.
All year is a great time in the Sawatch Range if you like the outdoors. Glide down the rapids of Fryingpan River in a kayak; if you need a place to stay VillaHotel Bears Creek is a tremendous choice. Lost Man Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up ordinarily; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.

We've camped here since our now 40ish childrlen were young. They are now taking their children there. Mosca is beautiful both to the eye and the heart. It is a little more difficult now that there is no potable water, but one can use lake water for dishes, and must bring in drinking and cooking water.Fishing is great - the deer put on a show eve4ry night. The camp hostess, Mary, is there is to help you with problems, and to give great advice.Other than the water problem, this is the greatest camp ground I've ever occupied!...
