Lost Man Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Aspen Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Creek. Lost Man Lake is pretty waterless regularly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
While you're here at Lost Man Lake you can take a hike along the Chapman Trail, and Portal Campground is

| | a magnificent campground here. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Fryingpan River, and Aspen Highlands is a tremendous local ski area. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Lost Man Lake. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Sawyer Lake Trail; Deadman Gulch is a magnificent place to spend some time.
