Beautiful Lost Lakes has much to offer visitors. Just can't get enough of Lost Lakes. Not much rainfall falls here at Lost Lakes; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Lost Lakes frequently tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Lost Lakes.

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Mary Queen Campground; a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Eagle River. also explore close by West Tennessee Lakes. Very wonderful scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Vail; of course East Fork Homestake Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Homestake Peak is easy
to spot from Lost Lakes, and Lost Lakes is right by the Fall Creek Trail. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. Take a hike on the Half Moon Trail, and if you're visiting from Edwards,
you won't be the only one. Lost Lakes is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Gold Park Campground is a fine location to camp nearby; hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Cooper is a tremendous spot to do that. The Sawatch Range
scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lost Lakes. The Main Range Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a spot to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a wonderful choice.

I would highly recommend this hike. Make sure you have everything you need for AT LEAST 2 days. The hike to Upper Piney will take 8 hours (all up hill)...But only 4 hours to get back to Piney River Ranch.... |
