    Lost Lake Slough is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Around Lost Lake Slough you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake Slough that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Lake Campground is a splendid place for that, and some close by water includes West Red Creek. After  
   a long day outdoors Crested Butte Lodge and Hostel is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; you could always discover Beckwith Pass.
This lake is so wonderful. Elevation Hotel & Spa is a perfect place to get some rest, and drift down the rapids of Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork in a kayak. High temperatures at Lost Lake Slough all through the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter
 
               brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lost Lake Slough. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake Slough; Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway is a good local trail.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you came to camp Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is a wonderful place to do that; the slopes of Irwin Lodge are so inviting nobody can resist. If you come at the right time of year, Crystal River offers some glorious whitewater, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hammond Trail. Take a hike on the Mill-Castle Trail; the peak of East Beckwith Mountain can be seen from Lost Lake Slough.
