    A visit to Lost Lake is always a good idea. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lost Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Lost Lake. New Village is a wonderful place to get some rest. Uneva Pass is a brilliant spot to spend some time at; Uneva Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Lost Lake.
Camping is available at Black Lakes
 
   Campground, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Wheeler Trail. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River, and the Miners Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by. It is very dried up here at Lost Lake frequently; throughout July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February.

               spot near Lost Lake; lots of people from Silverthorne come here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Timber Creek Condominums; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Wheeler Dillion Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Gold Pan Campground since you're here at Lost Lake, and why not head up to Breckenridge and strap some skis to your feet.
There's some flowing water nearby, Corral Creek is a stream you can visit while here; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Copper Mountain.
