     Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Lost Lake is one of them. Any time is a wonderful time at Lost Lake if you like the outdoors. Carbonate Copper Mountain is a magnificent site to get some rest. Lakes are great; Wheeler Lakes is a lake that's close to Lost Lake. Gold Pan Campground is a nice campground here, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Arkansas River. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing,  
   you're in luck; Breckenridge is near Lost Lake, and pleasant hiking is available along the Wheeler Dillion Trail.
Uneva Peak is lovely and can be distinguished from Lost Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Corral Creek. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lost Lake. There's great hiking along the Wheeler Trail; the snow is great at Copper Mountain.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lost Lake.
 
               For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lost Lake is great fun, Black Lakes Campground is a great local campground; if you need a spot to stay Copper Mountain Resort is a glorious choice. Lost Lake gets very little precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February.
If you're here, you might as well visit Uneva Pass, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; Miners Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Arkansas River, and there are plenty of folks from Silverthorne here.
