    Why not stop by Lost Lake if you're passing through these parts. Not much precipitation falls here at Lost Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. Paddling on Blue River is so much fun, and if you came to camp Davis Springs Campground is a fine place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. Skiing at Copper Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do, and there's  
   delightful hiking along the Lost Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Black Creek Reservoir; Lost Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Prairie Point Campground is a nice local campground. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back again and again. Blue River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Lost Lake is a spot with many visitors from Silverthorne.
The Park Range scenery is always
 
               beautiful. Just can't get enough of Lost Lake. A delightful close by hotel is Silverthorne Days Inn, and beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Vail. Very good water scenery is available at Lost Lake Dam near Lost Lake; Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a great site to get some rest.
Summertime highs at Lost Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Slate Creek Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; Gore Range Trail is a perfect local trail.
