For the duration of the summer months, highs commonly are in the 60's at Lost Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Lots       of rainfall falls at Lost Lake; March is the wettest month with most snow, and June on the other hand is the driest. So many exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just incredible. Going for a hike on the Dry Creek Stock Driveway is always a tremendous adventure; get covered with water paddling on Rio Grande. If you need a site to stay The Spruce Lodge is a great choice; South Fork Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is one                  of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are magnificent places to discover along the Hot Creek Stock Driveway; Allington Inn and Suites is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
