If you need a place to stay Allington Inn and Suites is a pleasant choice; there are great places to explore along the Dry Creek Stock Driveway. All the outdoors entertaining things in the San Juan Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande, and camping at River's Edge RV Resort is always a good experience. This lake is one of       the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Lost Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, South Fork Campground is a delightful local campground, and don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Hot Creek Stock Driveway. Through the long summer days at Lost Lake temperatures are commonly in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime                  temperatures at Lost Lake fall into the 0's. And that's not all you can do here at Lost Lake. Going for a hike on the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway is always a tremendous adventure, and dry warm beds await you at The Spruce Lodge.
