The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. What a site this is for outdoors people. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some magnificent whitewater; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Dry Creek Stock Driveway. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Allington Inn and Suites is a good       location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Fork Campground. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The Hot Creek Stock Driveway is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lost Lake. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River's Edge RV Resort is a great location for that. A large amount of precipitation                  falls at Lost Lake; most of the snow falls throughout March, and the driest month of the year is June. If you need a place to stay The Spruce Lodge is a perfect choice; do check out Poage Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. High temperatures at Lost Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Lost Lake.
