    If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Lost Lake. Lost Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is June. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Lost Lake tend to be in the 0's. Go for  
   a hike on the Green Mountain Trail; why not camp at Twin Lake Campground while you're here at Lost Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Leon Peak can be seen from Lost Lake; camping is available at Weir and Johnson Campground. Not far from Lost Lake, you'll discover Kendall Reservoir which is a picturesque lake, and there are wonderful locations to explore along the High Trail. A wonderful close by hotel is Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge.
Going for
 
               a hike on the East Leon Trail is always a great adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Youngs Lake. You simply must go for Lost Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Rifle is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and Kendall Dam is a wonderful place.
