    In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Lake is one of them. Just can't get enough of the Medicine Bow Mountains. You could also take a look at Barnes Meadow Reservoir if you're here at Lost Lake; it's close by, and get dripping wet paddling on Joe Wright Creek. Near Lost Lake you discover the Blue Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; camping at Lost Lake is wonderful fun, Aspen Glen Campground is a wonderful local campground. High temperatures  
   at Lost Lake during the summer are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Lost Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lost Lake is a delightful
 
               place to camp, Skyline Campground is a delightful place; if you need a place to stay Inn At Grand Lake, The is a great choice.
Lost Lake Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Lost Lake; dry warm beds await you at Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Big South Trail, and float down the rapids of Cache La Poudre River in a kayak. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Lost Lake has it all. Going for a hike on the West Branch Trail is always a great adventure, and do pop by Fall Creek since you're here at Lost Lake.
It is very arid here at Lost Lake generally; during May this area sees the most rain while January is mostly the driest month.
