A brilliant view of wonderful Mount Dunraven is available from Lost Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Aspenglen Campground. At Lost Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Lost Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime       are in the 0's. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Lost Lake. If you get bored of Lost Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Lake Husted; you can stay the night at Tom Bennett Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River - South Fork offers some good whitewater, and the Lost Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all                  the amusing things in the Front Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; Stormy Peaks Trail is a great local trail, and Stormy Peaks Pass is also a brilliant site to explore. Glacier Number 1 Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Lost Lake is right by the Black Canyon Trail. There are some good whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Fawn Valley Inn.
