Around Lost Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Take a hike on the Rawah Trail; a quick visit to Camp Creek is beyond doubt a delightful idea. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Hiking along the Link Trail is wonderful fun, and camping at Hooligan Roost Campground is always a great experience. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River, and swamps like Rawah Bog are fun to explore. Throughout the months of summer at Lost Lake highs are generally in the 70's.
