This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Silverton has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; camping is available at Blue Spruce Trailer Park. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Lost Lake. A tremendous site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lost Lake is Vallecito Creek; Irving Lake is a magnificent lake close by. On a good day at Lost Lake you can take a hike along

| | the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway; Kendall Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Animas River. Lakes? Sure, Hidden Lake is nearby. Buffalo Peak is simple to spot from Lost Lake, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Whitehead Trail. Lost Lake gets very little rain; August | |

a fine location to camp here at Lost Lake is Vallecito Campground. Summertime highs at Lost Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and
after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel.
