Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Lost Lake is one of them. Any time is a nice time at Lost Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Tamarron Resort, and if you get bored of Lost Lake you could also stop at nearby Lemon Reservoir. Head up to Kendall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; if you need a site to stay Lodge at Tamarron is a tremendous choice. Lost Lake is mostly a pretty arid site; the wettest month of the

| | year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Durango here; the Highline Trail is a good hiking trail close by. While you're here at Lost Lake you can take a hike along the Whitehead Trail, and Stump Lakes is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez | |

Mountains. There's whitewater on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; Long Hollow is another nice site to have a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a glorious little spree to Blodgett Creek,
and why not camp at Transfer Park Campground while you're here at Lost Lake. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Florida Campground is a nice local campground; Silverton is a very popular
ski area close by. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lost Lake. This place, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Animas River;
on a good day you can take a hike along the Deer Park Trail. During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lost Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lost Lake.
