Lost Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Going for a hike along the Deer Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Animas River. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. Head up to Silverton and strap some skis to your feet, and Canyon Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to

| | do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Tamarron is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Transfer Park Campground. Tamarron Resort is a delightful place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Florida Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. | |

This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Stump Lakes is a lake in the vicinity, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail. Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Lost Lake gets very little rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. During the months of summer highs here at Lost Lake reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures
are in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Lake sink into the 0's. Getting to Blodgett Creek from Lost Lake is uncomplicated, and
Long Hollow is a delightful location to visit. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too pleasant to be true. At Lost Lake you always meet someone from Durango, and hiking along the Whitehead
Trail is good fun. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Kendall Mountain is just what you need. Lakes are great; Lemon Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lost Lake.
