Hiking along the Highline Trail is good fun; not far from Lost Lake you'll come across Lemon Reservoir which is a picturesque lake. Camping at Florida Campground is always a pleasant experience; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Animas River. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lost Lake while night lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Lake.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Stump Lakes is a lake that's right next door to Lost Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Tamarron. At Lost Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and June meanwhile is the driest month. campground, and Lost Lake is right by the Whitehead Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Deer Park Trail, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Silverton. Lots of people from Durango come to Lost
Lake, and if you want a little side trip, try Long Hollow. Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer.
If you need a place to stay Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a perfect choice, and there's some flowing water close by, Blodgett Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one
place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is so good! Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Canyon Creek, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Kendall Mountain. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Lost Lake.
