    Why not stop by Lost Lake if you're passing through these parts. A brilliant view of stunning Porphyry Peaks is available from Lost Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? SolVista is a splendid spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Lost Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost  
   Lake fall into the 0's.
If the weather is delightful here at Lost Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wolverine Trail, and if you need a site to stay Bighorn Lodge is a good choice. Going for a hike along the Gilsonite Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; what would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass. A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Lost Lake is Willow Creek; Lost Lake is a pleasant location to camp,
 
               Teller City Campground is a pleasant location.
Having a good time at Lost Lake is easy. The Bowen Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Lost Lake, and Winding River Resort is a delightful campground here. Lost Lake is generally a reasonably dried out spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr.
