It's always fun to stop by Lost Lake. Through the warm months here at Lost Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 0's. So many cool things to do in the Sawatch Range, not enough time. Hiking along the Salt Creek Trail is good fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lost Lake has to

It is very dried out here at Lost Lake ordinarily; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Crestwood Condominiums; there are plenty of people from Edwards here. If you come at the right time of year, Fryingpan River offers some great whitewater, and Lost Lake is right by the Ironedge Trail. | |

If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lost Lake. Not far from Lost Lake, you'll locate Ragged Lakes which is a pretty lake, and good skiing awaits you at Aspen Highlands. This lake is one of the
great places here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Snowmass Lodging Company is a great choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Antone Trail. There's no such thing as a bad
day of skiing at nearby Aspen Mountain. There's a great forest in the neighborhood of Lost Lake called White River National Forest. Lakes? Sure, Rock Lake is close by. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sawatch
Range. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rocky Fork Campground is a nice location for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Fork.

 | Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
