     The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. This spot, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Texas Creek Trail, and if you came to camp Hughes Meadow Campground is a wonderful site to do that.
Really great skiing awaits you at Monarch, and Sawatch Range is clearly visible from Lost Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the
 
   Sawatch Range. The region where Lost Lake is, is dominated by the Sawatch Range; Cottonwood Pass is unquestionably a pleasant spot to check out. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Buena Vista is a fine choice, and don’t forget to check out Sanford Basin if you're here at Lost Lake.
If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Sawatch Range. There's glorious hiking along the Horn Fork Trail. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to
 
               camp here for a while, Mirror Lake Campground is a perfect site for that. And that's not all you can do here at Lost Lake. Cow Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and why not explore nearby North Fork Middle Cottonwood Creek since you're here at Lost Lake. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Lost Lake has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Vista Inn, and Ski Cooper has great slopes and a friendly staff.
During the warm months at Lost Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the-20's through winter nights. Lost Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling near Lost Lake is Clear Creek, and if you're here, you could also go to striking Spout Lake.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; Gold Creek Union Park Trail is a magnificent local trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek.

Monarch is a family favorite because of great snow conditions and easy access to the mountain.
