Looking for a wonderful trip? Mesa Verde National Park is pretty in close proximity to Lost Canyon Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Frink Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC, and the scenery at Lost Canyon Dam is striking. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Dolores River RV Park. Lakes are tremendous; A M Puett Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Lost Canyon Reservoir. Get yourself into a kayak

High temperatures at Lost Canyon Reservoir through the warm months are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. this is for outdoors folks. Dunton Hot Springs is a pleasant location to get some rest, and obviously, this is a magnificent neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Puett Reservoir is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful.

Puett Reservoir
 | A.M. Puett Reservoir was originally constructed in 1905, and then reconstructed in 1960. It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and open for public fishing from the bank and from trolling motor powered boats. No swimming is allowed. The lake is on private land and access is limited to 3 feet above the high water line.... |
Summit Reservoir
 | Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |

La Mesa RV Park
 | 11 miles away We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again.... |
