     Loss Reservoir is a location that is pretty dehydrated regularly; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Loss Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Loss Reservoir get into the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the  
   0's for Loss Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Paradox Road, and if you came to camp Iron Spring Campground is a fine place to do that. Yeah, come up here to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains for a wonderful time. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Uncompahgre River; the Spring Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Loss Reservoir. Hiking is a popular thing to
 
               do around Loss Reservoir; Dry Creek Trail is a good local trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Montrose for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and you're probably keen on lakes, Turkey Plot Reservoir is one of those close by. A journey to Loss Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cedar Spring; camping at Antone Spring Campground is always a brilliant experience.
