Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.       There's always Los Lagos Lakes Dam to visit next to Los Lagos Lakes, and there are other places here than Los Lagos Lakes, for example Glen Reservoir. It is very dry here at Los Lagos Lakes usually; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool things to do in the Front Range. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Berthoud Pass is next to Los Lagos Lakes, and a good close by hotel                  is Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek - South offers some pleasant whitewater; a splendid location to camp here at Los Lagos Lakes is Central City Blackhawk Campground.
