So many fun things to do here in the Park Range, too good to be true. Why not camp at Trail Creek Campground if you're here at Longs Lake; dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Silver Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Longs Lake. Sheep Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Longs Lake; hiking along       the Grassy Run Trail is brilliant fun. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Longs Lake is Colorado River, and Longs Lake is right by the Rock Creek Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Willow Creek, and the Haystack Trail offers hiking at its best. A brilliant place to camp here at Longs Lake is Parkview Campground, and Allington Inn and Suites of Kremmling is a good spot to get some rest. All                  year is a nice time in the Park Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Not far from Longs Lake, you'll discover Matheson Reservoir which is a lovely lake. Lakes? Sure, Buffalo Reservoir is close at hand. Longs Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Longs Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
