If you are in Routt county it's always a good idea to stop by Long Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Percy Lake Trail; you can stay the night at Granite Campground. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Long Lake has it all. Looking for some flowing water? Try Butcherknife Creek. Summertime highs at Long Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while

This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Steamboat, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake; Divide Trail is a great local trail. And if that's not enough there's heaps more fun things to do in the Park Range. Take a hike on the Fish Creek Falls Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Elk River. And that's not all you can do here at Long Lake. | |

There are plenty of folks from Edwards here at Long Lake; if you need a place to stay Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a great choice.
Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Elk River, and since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always take a look at close by Fish Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Haymaker Golf Course, and great water scenery is available at Long Lake Dam right next door to Long Lake.
Howelsen Hill has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and dry warm beds await you at Winterwood Townhomes.
It is very waterless here at Long Lake commonly; the month with most of the snow is December, and August is when it's
the driest. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Long Lake has to offer, you can camp at Base Campground, and obviously,
this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Long Lake Reservoir is a lake around here. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
