Looking for a brilliant journey? Rocky Mountain National Park is rather close to Long Lake; Long Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pawnee Campground is a good local campground. If you need a place to stay Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a great choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Niwot Cut-Off Trail. It is very arid here at Long Lake usually; August is the month that gets the most rain,       and the driest of the months is February. The snow is fine at Berthoud Pass, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Boulder Creek. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a good time. Long Lake is right by the Blue Lake Trail, and there's whitewater on Boulder Creek - South for all you adrenaline people. A day on the slopes of Winter Park is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Long Lake Dam is not far at all from Long Lake; if you've                  had enough of Long Lake, Brainard Lake is nearby. All the outdoors amusing things in the Front Range will keep you coming back many times. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mitchell Creek Campground is a great site for that, and Long Lake is not the only place close by, Long Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent nearby hotel is Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins, and hiking along the Jean Lunning Trail is delightful fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Long Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
