Many people like to go to Long Lake. It is very waterless here at Long Lake usually; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. The skiing at Berthoud Pass is tremendous. Lakes? Sure, Mitchell Lake is in close proximity. If you came to camp Pawnee Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a delightful place to spend a night or two.

| | is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jean Lunning Trail, and get drenched paddling on Boulder Creek - South. You truly should love Long Lake. Long Lake Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. The Blue Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.

for a while, Mitchell Creek Campground is a great spot for that; paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Niwot Cut-Off Trail, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Winter Park.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range.
You just must love the Front Range. If you need a place to stay Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a great choice; there are other locations here than Long Lake, for
example Albion Lake. During the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Long Lake, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Long Lake.
