Lonesome Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Main Range Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Ski Cooper. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lonesome Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lonesome Lake

Lonesome Lake is usually a rather waterless location; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is February. This place, Lonesome Lake, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Lonesome Lake? Timberline Lake is in the neighborhood; if you need a spot to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a pleasant choice. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. Camping is available at Gold Park Campground; glide down the rapids of Homestake Creek in a kayak.
