Man, is there lots of cool things to do near Lone Tree Reservoir. Looking for a magnificent journey? Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is pretty close to Lone Tree Reservoir; going for a hike along the Tanner Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. At Lone Tree Reservoir during the warm months highs are in the 70's, and the night is a bit       cooler of course, typically in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Lone Tree Reservoir dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This site, the Front Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. It's a brilliant idea to check out Wilson Creek, it's next to Lone Tree Reservoir; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Royal Gorge Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Lone Tree Reservoir is not far at all                  from Canon City; Super 8 Motel - Canon City is a wonderful site to get some rest. It is very dried up here at Lone Tree Reservoir commonly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect spot to camp here at Lone Tree Reservoir is Royal View Campground; if you're here you can take a hike along the Stultz Trail. So much cool stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Sand Draw is close to Lone Tree Reservoir and is certainly a great location to pop by, and whitewater paddling is good on Grape Creek. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. Park Center L and W Number 10 Reservoir is a glorious lake in the neighborhood of Lone Tree Reservoir, and playing golf is lots of fun at Shadow Hills Golf Club. Why not camp at Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA while you're here at Lone Tree Reservoir, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. Lone Tree Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Front Range.
