This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is a great spot to camp; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Lake Erie. There's some interesting stuff to see at Lone Pine Dam right next door to Lone Pine Reservoir, and golf can be played at Fox Acres Country Club. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lone Pine Reservoir. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures

North Lone Pine Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All year is
a nice time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you like the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Pocahontas Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lone Pine Reservoir; Killpecker Trail is a fine local trail. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lone Pine Reservoir. Beartrap Creek is one of the streams
nearby that might be worth taking a look at; why not camp at Creedmore Lakes Campground if you're here at Lone Pine Reservoir. Cache La Poudre River is a magnificent whitewater spot right next door to Lone Pine Reservoir, and don't leave Lone Pine Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail.

 | Marlene. I spent several years in Laramie in the 70's and also never was aquainted with Worster Reservoir... However my interest in families was sparked when I heard the name Appleton Collins Worster who is in my family tree.
...It's named after my grandfather Appleton Collins Worster, he came here from Maine when he was young. My father and uncles grew up in the house that is on Sand Creek road, not far from reservoir....I have never heard of Worster Reservoir, please let me know where it is located.... |
