Be careful coming to Lone Pine Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Lady Moon Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and do take a hike on the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you came to camp Lost Lake Campground is a great place to do that; get drenched paddling on Cache La Poudre River. All the outdoors       entertaining things in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Lone Pine Lake is right by the Mount McConnel Trail. Lone Pine Lake is pretty arid generally; throughout July this area sees the most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kreutzer Nature Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Fox Acres Country Club is in the vicinity.                  This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Evergreens On Fall River is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and a good place is Teakettle Canyon. The warmest time of the year at Lone Pine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lone Pine Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains.
