Loch Lomond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Front Range. Dry warm beds await you at The Peck House, and Loch Lomond is not the only site nearby, Lake Caroline is a nearby lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Loch Lomond. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Loch Lomond nighttime low

| | temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. A pleasant place near Loch Lomond is Glory Hole.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Clear Creek - West Fork, and you can catch a sight of Mount Bancroft from Loch Lomond. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Loch Lomond. Why not camp at Midland Campground while you're here at Loch Lomond, and don't leave Loch Lomond without first going for a hike along | |

the James Peak Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's some exciting stuff to see at Loch Lomond Dam close to Loch Lomond; a glorious place to camp here at Loch Lomond is Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds.
Loch Lomond is located
in the Front Range. Skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just should do, and the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail offers hiking at its best. At Loch Lomond you don’t see much rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and
the driest of the months is February.
Get soaked paddling on Clear Creek; there's perfect hiking along the South Boulder Creek Trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Front Range, just mind-blowing. If you need a site to stay Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a brilliant choice, and great skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass.
