In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Lizard Lake is one of them. Laurelwood Condominiums is a good location to get some rest, and paddling on Yule Creek is so much fun. Mount Daly is trouble-free to spot from Lizard Lake; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous location to camp here at Lizard Lake is Meri-daes RV Park and General Store, and a wonderful place like Buckskin Basin

For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Lizard Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Lizard Lake during the wintertime commonly plunge into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail near Lizard Lake called the Hammond Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Irwin Lodge. | |

Crystal River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and after a long day outdoors Wildwood Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two.
Do check out Beaver Lake next to Lizard Lake, it's a beautiful lake. You'll
wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Lizard Lake. Take a side trip to Lost Trail Creek, and why not camp at Osgood Campground since you're here at Lizard Lake. The Trail Riders Trail is a wonderful
hiking trail in close proximity to Lizard Lake, and the scenery at Beaver Lake Dam is picturesque.
At Lizard Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
