Little Red Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Little Red Reservoir. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Little Red Reservoir? Big Red Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Horsefly Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Little Red Reservoir; July is when you get the most rain here; February

| | is the month with the least moisture. San Miguel River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and close by you come across the Pool Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Big A Creek is near Little Red Reservoir and is always a bliss to stop by. All year is a wonderful time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you like the outdoors. Paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun, and naturally, A spree to Little Red Canyon is always fun. | |

Inn Montrose is a nice place to spend a night or two; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Herman Reservoir is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Antone Spring Campground;
if you want to stop at some interesting stuff, stop at Horsefly Bench. At Little Red Reservoir throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter
come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Little Red Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Burnt Stump Spring since you're here at Little Red Reservoir; you'll probably meet some folks from Montrose here.
