While you're here at Little Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Rawah Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. Camping is available at Browns Park Campground, as expected you could also explore Rawah Lake Number 1 since you're here; it's not far at all. Man, is there loads of exciting       stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the McIntyre Lake Trail; you can spot North Rawah Peak from Little Rainbow Lake. Little Rainbow Lake is pretty dried up ordinarily; during May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Hooligan Roost Campground is a nice spot to camp, and Joe Wright Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Little Rainbow                  Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is McIntyre Lake, and Grassy Pass is another magnificent site to visit nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge. High temperatures at Little Rainbow Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Little Rainbow Lake drop into the 0's. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too magnificent to be true.
