Through the warm months at Little Rainbow Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, generally in the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Little Rainbow Lake. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Little Rainbow Lake called the Link Trail, and Little       Rainbow Lake is not the only location nearby, Rawah Lake Number 1 is a nearby lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Little Rainbow Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Little Rainbow Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Browns Park Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby, and since you're here, you might as well stop at Grassy Pass. On a wonderful day at Little Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Rawah Trail, and a lake nearby is McIntyre Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
