This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Little Rainbow Lake without first going for a hike along the Link Trail. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Little Rainbow Lake. Not far from Little Rainbow Lake, you'll discover Big Rainbow Lake which is a stunning lake, and camping is available at Hooligan Roost Campground. Yeah, come up here       to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a good time. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a good panorama of North Rawah Peak from Little Rainbow Lake; a magnificent place to camp here at Little Rainbow Lake is Browns Park Campground. A quick spree to West Branch Laramie River near Little Rainbow Lake is a great idea, and going for a hike on the McIntyre Lake Trail is always a good adventure. Grassy Pass is in the neighborhood of Little Rainbow Lake and is certainly                  a great site to check out, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Get soaked paddling on Joe Wright Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Rawah Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Little Rainbow Lake; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Little Rainbow Lake, for example Kelly Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. Little Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Rainbow Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's.
