This lake is so wonderful. The Cottonwood Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Little Monitor       Reservoir Number 1. Lakes? Sure, Lone Pine Reservoir is in the vicinity. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Do set aside some time for Cottonwood Basin if you're here at Little Monitor Reservoir Number 1; Best Western Sundance is a tremendous location to get some rest. All through the warm months at Little Monitor Reservoir Number 1 highs are typically in the 90's.
